FOUNDED BY INDUSTRY VETERANS, ENERGY EQUATION PARTNERS INVESTS IN TRADITIONAL ENERGY BUSINESSES THAT WILL DRIVE THE NEXT PHASE OF THE ENERGY TRANSITION
We are an energy investment firm focused on backing middle market energy companies to meet consumer demand. We invest in companies that have cashflow, strong balance sheets, and a physical footprint that will endure regardless of how energy is manufactured.
Our principals have deployed over $10 billion of equity capital across the global energy value chain. Our rich experience in operating companies and assets that are relevant to the flow of energy commodities complements private equity and strategic investors.
Our deep roots in the energy industry give us trusted access to key decision makers and proprietary deal flow.
The pace of energy transition is being influenced by many factors including evolving policy and regulation, unpredictable capital markets, new technologies and the shifting and uncertain response of existing players
Energy value chains need to be transformed, requiring flexible capital, deep energy industry knowledge, and operating expertise to decarbonise traditional energy assets, logistics and solutions
This presents a compelling opportunity to invest in existing energy companies, leveraging their current advantages, and building-out complementary clean infrastructure platforms
Our investment approach is to transform existing energy companies, leveraging their existing assets and building-out complementary clean infrastructure platforms

The senior team has worked together for more than a decade across a number of transactions, with a top quartile track record investing $10bn of equity across the energy value chain
